Hoe ziet Tostran eruit en wat is de inhoud van de verpakking?
Tostran is een heldere en kleurloze gel. Tostran wordt geleverd in flacons die elk 60 gram gel bevatten. De flacons zijn voorzien van een pompmechanisme, dat een vaste hoeveelheid gel afgeeft. Het werkzame bestanddeel van Tostran is testosteron. Een gram gel bevat 20 mg testosteron.
Waarvoor wordt Tostran gebruikt?
Tostran wordt gebruikt bij mannen die zelf te weinig of geen testosteron produceren, wat hypogonadisme wordt genoemd. Het is belangrijk dat u altijd eerst de patiëntenbijsluiter leest, ook als u Tostran al eerder heeft gebruikt. Er kan nieuwe belangrijke informatie in staan. Vervangingstherapie met testosteron bij mannen met hypogonadisme bij wie testosterondeficiëntie aan de hand van de klinische symptomen en laboratoriumonderzoek is bevestigd.
